My Story
Hi, I’m Annabelle—but you can call me Belle. I’m an animation student at Webster University, set to graduate in May of 2027. Growing up, I was always the kid who felt a little out of place—the one who spent more time daydreaming than talking, who connected more with fictional worlds than the one around me. Art became my safe space, a way to process, to explore, and to express what I couldn’t always say out loud.
I’ve always been inspired by stories that treat emotions with care—films like WALL·E, the quiet magic of Studio Ghibli, and the deeply personal worldbuilding of Dana Terrace’s The Owl House. Cassandra Jean’s illustrations and the emotional scale of Star Wars also shaped how I think about character and connection. These stories taught me that art doesn’t have to be loud to be powerful—it just has to be honest.
A lot of my work centers around the feeling of not quite fitting in, and how meaningful it is when stories finally speak to that. I believe artists have a responsibility to create from the parts of themselves that feel unseen—because chances are, someone else needs that story too. That’s why it’s so important to me that media makes space for difference—for the quiet kids, the dreamers, and anyone who’s ever struggled to feel understood.
Belnatra Studios is where I explore those ideas and grow as a creator. It’s a place for experimentation and connection, where I try to tell stories that reflect not just who I am, but the kind of world I want to help build.
Thanks for being here!
